Bunner and Termeer Stay Atop the Boys' Leaderboard at Trusted Choice® Big “I” National Championship Tsukiyama onto Top Spot in the Girls Division
The Boys Division saw a tight duel during the third round of the
Trusted Choice® Big “I” National Championship as Greg Bunner of
Cherryville, N.C., and Tayler Termeer of Austin, Texas, battled for the
lead. The two, who started the round tied, came out even again after
shooting 71s for even-par 213 tournament totals. In the Girls Division,
Kuriko Tsukiyama of Bogota, N.J., shot a third-round 77 to maintain the
lead at 1-under-par 141.
Moore's Inspiring Drive The Trentonian interviewed Ricky Moore of Dacula, Ga., for an article that appeared in the paper today. Moore underwent
an above-knee amputation after he was born without a knee or quadricep muscle in his right leg. The 17-year-old has found success on the course through hard work, courage, and perseverance, writes The Trentonian's L.A. Parker, who is covering the tournament this week.
